Ok, so I want to Move to Berkley Michigan

This past 4th of July we stayed in the childhood home of my Beau, which is in Lathroup Village Michigan
We had a Great time
We watched a GREAT Fireworks display in Berverly Hills
Picked Cherries and made Cherry Chip oatmeal cookies YUM

Our Grandaughter learned to swim in the big backyard pool & how to catch Fire Flies
We ate amazing food prepared by the GREAT AMAZING Martha
and
I fell in Love with a little town called Berkley
I am selling my house here in CA
and I am moving to Berkley Michigan so I can
Walk downtown to get a burger

and
Shop of course

and
find a place to kick back to watch the Dream Crusie Parade

Woodward Ave & 12 Mile Road

I'd like to buy this house or one like it

and
Once a week I'd like to do lunch with my MIL in Downtown Birmingham
at The Townsend Hotel

I don't care about the snow part of the deal

 I might miss Orange County

and
Hermosa Beach

But I work so hard to live here
I never get to enjoy all that CA has to offer
I can always visit and besides the pacific ocean is cold
So
I am going to move

Hello Michigan it's me Cheryl

Shabby Chic, Rainbows & Pink Lemonade

Summer Rainbow

To make my summer rainbow bobby pins I used what I call the "Purl & Pearl" patten minus the pearl
I also omitted one of the triple crochets for each petal.
Material List

  • Crochet Hook Size : F
  • Yarn: Small amounts
  • 3 Pearl Beads
  • Jewelry Wire
  • Permanent Fabric Glue or Hot Glue
  • Felt: Small amounts to match yarn color
  • Headband: Plastic or Metal
  • Optional: Small Alligator Clip, Bobby Pins
My Version
“Purl & Pearls Posies”

PATTERN DIRECTIONS

Form a Magic Circle

First Petal
Slip Stitch into Magic Circle, Chain 2 {counts as 1st Triple Crochet}
Work 2 more Triple Crochets into Magic Circle
Chain 3
Slipstitch into Magic Circle

Second Petal
Chain 3
Work 2 Triple Crochets into Magic Circle
Chain 3
Slipstitch into Magic Circle

Continue working pattern from the beginning of  2nd petal 3 more times for a total of 5 petals.
·   After 5th petal is completed ending with last Slipstitch – Cut yarn fasten off leaving 2” tail - Slip loose end through the center of your Magic Circle moving it to the back of your work
  • Pull loose end of Magic Circle to close up the center - Pearl can be added at this time as you pull the center closed - String a single pearl into the center of each posy with jewelry wire twist & trim the wire then place tiny amount of permanent fabric glue to secure.
  • Tie both loose ends together, trim off excess - secure with a dot of fabric glue
Next
I used matte Mod Podge on the back of the tiny flowers, let them dry and attached to a bobby pin with a little circle on the end I found those at Etsy.
I used a permanent non toxic adhesive called "Fusion" something I found it awhile ago at Michaels and it works great but you do have to allow it to dry for at least a few hours before you start tugging on it  to see if it worked.
I like finishing the back with mod podge the front stays soft and silky but he back is stiff and prevents the flowers from curling up.
Thanks for stopping by  : )
