Easy Crochet Snowflake

Easy Crochet SnowyFlake Pattern

 

G Hook recommended, or Hook size of choice

Small bits of cotton yarn or yarn of choice


 Use Magic Circle Technique for closed center

or

Chain 5
Join into 1st chain with a slip stitch to form a circle


Round 1:
Ch 4 (this counts as as hdc, ch 2) Hdc, Ch2 (5 times) into the circle or magic circle

Round 2:
Work into the 6 spaces you just created
To begin sl st into the first space to the left of your hook.

First snowflake cluster

Ch 3, sl st into same space
Ch 5, sl st into the same space
Ch 3, sl st into the same space
Continue the rest of the clusters as follows:
*ch 1,  sl st into the next space, Ch 3, sl st, ch 5, sl st, ch 3, sl st*

 

Repeat between * and * 4 more times,

ch 1 and sl st into the very first sl st of this round, bind off
 
I appliqued my snowflake to a 3" x 5" muslin bag as featured in the photo
I have also applied mod podge to my snowflakes to stiffen and use as a gift tag

Five Petal Daisies

Materials:

Cotton Yarn or Yarn of Choice

G Hook or Hook Size of Choice

Special Stitch Note: 4x Crochet Stitch, add one more stitch to a regular triple crochet stitch in the middle or at the end

Pattern:

10 Single Crochets into Magic Circle, Join with slip stitch

Petal Cluster:  Working in the same joining slip stitch, Chain 3, work a 4x Crochet Stitch 3 times, chain 3, slip stitch all into the same stitch

Skip 1 Single Crochet

Slip Stitch and repeat the petal cluster 4 times, End last petal with slip stitch

Flower Center, Chain 15, Trim the ends of chain stitch string

Twirl the chain stitch string into a circle and use fabric glue or hot glue to place in the center of flower

Flower Center Alternatives:  large button or leave plain

Option:

Stiffen and Stabilize Finished Flower back side with ModPodge

For Hair Clippie or brooch, attach hair clip with felt or fabric and hot glue to the back of flower

Crochet Headband

Materials: 1 ball Lily Cotton Yarn, Size G Hook

Pattern
First Row:
Chain 20, Double Crochet, Chain 2, Single Crochet into 4th chain from Hook,
* Skip 3 chains, work 2 Double Crochets, Chain 2, Single Crochet in next chain stitch*, Repeat the stitches between *  * to the end of the row

Row 2: Chain 2 Turn, Double Crochet, Chain 2, Single Crochet in 1st Chain 2 Space, 2 Double Crochets, Chain 2, Single Crochet into each remaining Chain 2 Spaces across to end

Repeat Row 2 until Strip Measures 18” join by slip stitching ends together or sew together with yarn needle. Weave in ends with your method of choice.

Note: This band is approx. 5" wide to adjust size, adjust foundation chain in multiples of 4

Crochet Hearts, Simple and Easy

 
 
 
 
These simple cute little hearts are my favorite thing to crochet
 They can be used for making cards, hair accessories, book marks, magnets, garlands
and anything else You can think of.
I used Grace Yarn by Patton for these fun colors you see here
Pattern below
 
 
Pattern
 
  • Form an adjustable circle or ch 4 and slip stitch to the 1st ch to form a circle
  • Chain 2
  • Work 4 Double Crochets, 1 Treble crochet and 4 more Double crochets into the circle.
  • Chain 2
  • (Do Not Join to first chain 2 stitches)
  • Slip Stitch into the Circle
  • Cut yarn bind off & slip loose end thru the center of circle to the back of your work
  • Pull the Circle Closed with the other loose end
  • Tie the loose ends together in a square knot
  • Trim off excess
