  12. This is awesome! I made the little hearts already! I am a beginner and I'm doing something wrong with the flowers. My petals keep ending up with holes in the middle and I don't understand how you make 5 petals from 10 single crochets as the base. Any tips?

  13. I love how easy & quick these flowers are Thank you so much for sharing this pattern! I have a question for you: would you be all right with me selling things that include flowers that I make from using this pattern? All credit would go to you, of course, with a link-back. Thank you! :)

  14. My 3 year old daughter is obsessed with Doc McStuffins (perhaps, because that's one of the programs I most encourage her to watch, not to mention, her bedroom is decked out with nothing but her! I digress)

    Doc McStuffins Headband:
    Materials:
Yarn: Any weight (Flower is great for scraps)
    Hook: Any (I used 4.5mm or H)
    Time: Less than 30 minutes

    Headband
Foundation Chain: CH however many you need to make it fit around the child’s head (My daughter is 65 stitches.), CH 2
Row 1: DC all the way back to beginning of starting chain. 2 DC in last ST. (This will bring you back to the beginning of the foundation chain.
Row 2: DC through the middle of previous DC’s.
Sew or sl st both ends together.
*Note: You could have also crocheted in the round, but I’m not very good at it, so I joined them)
When you cut your tail, leave a fairly long one. Use it to sew the flower on securely (Remember, this is for a child, and they’re not always so good at keeping things together.

    Flower:
    I got the pattern from:
    http://flowergirlcottage.blogspot.com/2012/01/free-crochet-flower-pattern-perfect.html
*My modification* I changed from Purple to Pink after completing the Magic Circle.

To join the 2 pieces, use the long tail you cut to sew the flower neatly to the headband at the join.

This is my personal creation (with the exception of the flower). If you choose to credit me, that’s great. My user name/hashtag is “NEGLA3.” I do not have a website.

    Happy Crocheting!!!
